Truthfully, just about any view of the Seminyak sunset is a moving experience, but there are also a few prime spots for welcoming the colorful end of the day as the sun makes its descent. This list covers the most popular and best locations for you to check off your list during your stay.

La Laguna Restaurant on Berawa Beach
This bar, situated right by the ocean along the stretch between Seminyak and Canggu, is a gorgeous spot for viewing the Seminyak sunset during your trip. Order a drink and kick back for a low-key sunset view from the restaurant, or bring something comfortable to sit on for a prime spot on the beach. La Laguna even offers gypsy caravans as an option.
Double-Six Rooftop
This rooftop features a cool aquarium full of sharks lining the walls, fire pits, and helpful hotel staff members as you enjoy the ocean view accompanying the sunset. Order a drink at the hotel bar while you also drink in the view. And don’t forget to make a trip downstairs for an order from the bar at the Plantation Grill restaurant in the elegant hotel.
La Plancha
Enjoy the bright colors, celebrations, and the chance to sit in a fun beanbag chair right on the sand’s oceanfront by the La Plancha bar as the sun rolls down. Order a drink and let your worries take a break as you feast your eyes on the view.
Petitenget Beach
If you’re looking for a variety of choices when watching the sunset, take a trip to Seminyak’s Petitenget Beach to give yourself several your options. There’s a temple, several nice restaurants, and awesome beach clubs like WooBar, Potato Head, and Ku De Ta (which we’ll talk more about below) as potential options for viewing the sunset. If none of those seem to do it, there’s also the simple choice to hang out on the sand.
Ku De Ta
This European-esque restaurant and beach bar, pronounced coup d’état, has pretty high prices on drinks but also an amazing view and location for sunset watching. You can enter directly from the beach, then lay out on the grassy lawn accompanied by plush cushions for a comfortable and classy time.
Crystal Palace
In contrast with Ku De Ta, Crystal Palace has very affordable drinks and a much more hippy vibe. It’s another chance for bean bag chair-sitting on the beach with the sunset and a few drinks—plus a live DJ or guitar to add to the ambience.
Potato Head
It’s not just the fun name that makes Potato Head a popular place to go for the evening! You’ll find a great vibe and good list of delicious cocktails. Plus, it’s a great place to visit during the day for some nourishment and a dip in the included pool.
Moonlight
Enjoy food, drinks, and live music (from 7pm to 10pm) in a relaxing and elegant atmosphere on the rooftop at Moonlight. It’s located outside Anantara Seminyak and provides a great view of the sunset.
