In a profound example of supporting social and community development, The Oracle by Blue Karma Secrets Group, has forged a transformative partnership with School Boat Indonesia, an esteemed non-governmental organization (NGO).
Through the generous donation by The Oracle, School Boat Indonesia has successfully embarked on a journey of change, hosting the “Impact Trip to Kerora Village, Rinca Island, Komodo National Park: A Journey of Transformation.”
The transformative expedition commenced with an air of anticipation. However, a minor flight delay from Bali added an unforeseen twist to the journey. Undeterred, the team set sail from Labuan Bajo at 5 pm. Under the veil of night, the yacht glided across the sea, creating an unforgettable prologue to the days ahead.
The second day of the expedition was characterized by a whirlwind of activities aimed at bridging the gap between the participants and the villagers. Grouped into three teams, each team took on a distinct project. An art class ignited the creative spark among the village’s youth, fostering self-expression and artistic exploration. Concurrently, a water survey was undertaken to assess water-related challenges in the community, while another team engaged in a tree-planting initiative, highlighting environmental stewardship.
In the afternoon, a poignant gesture unfolded as the team distributed 40 water filters to the village residents. This gesture not only addressed a pressing need but also underscored the values of communal support and collective responsibility.
The timing of the journey coincided harmoniously with Indonesia’s Independence Day, providing a special opportunity to celebrate alongside the villagers. Joy, camaraderie, and a profound sense of unity pervaded the atmosphere, as both locals and participants joined hands to celebrate the spirit of freedom and interconnectedness.
As the transformative journey neared its conclusion, a mix of emotions filled Kerora Village. The bonds formed during the trip were deep and impactful, leaving an enduring impact on all involved. Bittersweet farewells were exchanged, coupled with a hope that the memories and connections made would remain resilient over time.
All in all, The Independence Day journey to Kerora Village on Rinca Island within Komodo National Park left a profound impact on participants and the local community, fostering unity and celebrating freedom amidst stunning landscapes. Through cultural exchange and conservation efforts, the event aimed to enhance understanding, promote sustainability, and nurture togetherness, leaving a legacy of lasting change and shared environmental stewardship.
